Children Rights

we arrange an Essay Competition in Our Madrasha Naziria Naymia Mahmudia Madrasha for students of Class 06 to 10 (age average 10 to 14) About 150 students of Class six to class ten participated in this competition.

We found the following output- student’s views from this competition:

Subject: Children Rights

Questions (i) who are Children?

All students have written the Answer is- “ According to United Nations Memorandum age group 0-18 are called “Child”/ Children

Questions (ii) what do you know about Children Rights?

The different answers / student’s views are as follows:

In 1959 at First United Nation take step of Children Rights Memorandum
In 1979 at fist Celebrate Children Day in few Countries of the World
In 1990 United Nations discuss with all Government chief of many Countries and they make
Children rights Memorandum in this year.
In this first Memorandum of UN about 16 Articles on Children rights included that time
17th March of every year Member countries of United Nations Celebrate World Children Day
About 25% are Children of all Population of the Worlds
In our country many organizations are working on children rights
A famous TV series Broadcasting by BTV on Children Rights is SISIMPUR
Bangladesh is now trying to stop Risking Child Labor in the Industries

Class six (age Group-10)

01. The right to have Proper education
02. The right to have live in house
03. The right to have cloths
04. The right to have religious education
05. The right to have literacy
06. The right to have Brest feeding in the right time
07. The right to have Medical Treatment
08. The right to have Proper food


Class Seven (Age group –11)

09. The right to have to play
10. The right to have anti drug
11. The right to have sleep well
12. The right have to be a popular man
13. The right have to be a good learners
14. The right to have to solve Poor People’s Problem
15. The right have to be a strong thinker
16. The right have to take care of child
17. The right to have obedience to Parents, teachers and country

Class Eight (Age Group –12)

18. The right to have a good sound knowledgeable
19. The right to have live in peace
20. The right to have to stop Risking child labor work in Garments and other Industries
21. The right to have to create better opportunity for the child
22. The right to have to mentally fit for future life
23. The right to have improve the Children law
24. The right to have prepare 21st Century development skills

Class Nine (Age Group- 13)

26. The right to have love in all
27. The right to have solve all kinds of Financial Problems
28. The right to show cultural and positive attitude
29. The right to have Name and Nationality
